On 19 May 2026, Creative Motion partner Namaste organised a Creative Engagement Lab involving older adults in movement-based and theatre-inspired activities in Greece.
The lab created a safe and inclusive environment where participants engaged in creative movement exercises focused on balance, coordination, storytelling, social interaction, and emotional well-being. The activities encouraged active participation while promoting confidence, enjoyment, and community connection.
An important part of the session was the collection of participant feedback regarding accessibility, adaptability, safety, and engagement. The insights gathered during the lab will support the co-creation and development of movement activities tailored to diverse mobility levels and participant needs.
Through initiatives such as these, the Creative Motion partnership continues working towards inclusive and participant-centred approaches that promote active ageing through creativity and movement.
We warmly thank Namaste for their valuable contribution to the implementation of the project at local level.
