On Saturday, 25 April, the Creative Motion project was successfully presented at the PASTECHL Conference, highlighting the importance of innovative practices that promote active ageing and improve the well-being of older adults.
During the presentation, special emphasis was placed on the growing need for new and engaging approaches to physical activity for seniors, as traditional exercise programmes often struggle to maintain long-term interest and participation.
Creative Motion responds to this challenge through an inclusive, low-impact methodology that combines movement, theatre, and storytelling. This unique approach supports not only physical activity, but also cognitive stimulation, emotional well-being, and social interaction among participants.
The presentation showcased the project’s strong potential as a modern and effective tool for enhancing the quality of life of older adults, while encouraging creativity, participation, and community connection.
Special thanks to George Michalis, representative of our Partner NAMASTE, for delivering an excellent presentation and successfully demonstrating the value and impact of the Creative Motion project.
Participation in the conference was an important opportunity to disseminate the project’s results and strengthen dialogue around innovative solutions that support active and healthy ageing across Europe.
