Namaste Supports Creative Motion

We are pleased to highlight the valuable contribution of our project partner Namaste, who recently conducted interviews with older adults as part of the Creative Motion project.

The interviews were designed to gather meaningful insights into participants’ needs, motivations, preferences, and possible barriers to taking part in movement-based activities. This important research step helps the partnership better understand what older adults value most when engaging in active ageing initiatives.

Among the key findings were the importance of safe and enjoyable activities, opportunities for social interaction, confidence-building, creativity, and inclusive participation adapted to different ability levels.

The results of these interviews will contribute to the preparation of the project’s needs assessment report and will guide the design of future Creative Motion activities, ensuring they are relevant, inclusive, and impactful for participants in all partner countries.

We warmly thank Namaste for their dedication and active contribution to shaping a participant-centred Creative Motion programme.

The Creative Motion partnership continues working together to promote active ageing through movement, creativity, and community engagement.
